Huili Voice - Reflections on child's learning

At the beginning of the drama, the performers presented the crown and sceptre to the pharaoh. In ancient Egypt, these two items were the most symbolic decorations of the pharaoh's royal status. Unfortunately, no physical pharaoh's crown has been found in archaeological excavations to date. However, the pupils used a lot of historical literature research and reference, combined with their own thinking and understanding, to recreate the symbolic sceptre and red and white double crown.

From the video, it is clear to see that Rachel has started to think more about herself and her future during her year at Huili. Huili has brought her not only the acquisition of knowledge, but also a better understanding of the people around her, a curiosity about the world, and a constant pursuit of her dreams. These are the more valuable treasures that Huili has given her.

Starting from the personalized needs of pupils, we combine project-based learning to stimulate their inner drive and cultivate them into lifelong learners. Even with a small opportunity, teachers can accurately capture and guide it, leading children to go further while being the masters of their own learning. We hope to cultivate children's independent thinking ability and innovative spirit through an open education environment, help them express themselves more confidently, and encourage them to explore unknown fields.

The influence of Chinese and Western cultures happens during every moment of the children's daily life. At Chinese New Year, they will introduce traditional Chinese customs to foreign teachers; on New Year's Day, they will also invite foreign teachers to talk about their own country's celebration methods. The diverse cultural community surrounding the children and the open and inclusive environment provide them with rich experiences and learning opportunities, laying a solid foundation for their future growth.

At Huili, every teacher hopes to pass on their passion, positivity, and kindness to the children. Iris's mother fully felt the teachers' love for the children in the past year. "I feel that with such a group of teachers in Huili Nursery Nantong, our children are happy and fortunate, and it is extremely helpful."

We hope that with the teachers' words and deeds and positive encouragement, children can grow up to be bridges of communication in the world, promote communication between groups with different cultural backgrounds and different thinking concepts, eliminate the differences caused by cultural differences, and promote the harmony and prosperity of human society.

As Milo's mother said in the video, the influence of the Huili community is much deeper than a normal parent-teacher relationship. Children bring back not only the knowledge they have learned but also the inspiration and influence of the Huili philosophy. At the same time, close communication between home and school can provide children with more attention and support to develop their interests, learning abilities, and social skills. Through this two-way communication, we hope to let children grow up in a home environment that upholds common educational beliefs and values, and grow up with a sense of fulfilment and happiness.

We focus on cultivating children's kindness and responsibility, encouraging them to care for others in their daily lives and think about their connections with the world. This attitude of caring for others and the world around them helps to cultivate children's empathy and social skills, develop a lofty ambition to serve society, and contribute to a better future world. Just like Antony's mother stated in the video, "I hope he (Antony) can learn to persevere, be content, be brave, and have the ability to love." She also believes that through Huili's cultivation, children can grow up to be important roles with these qualities and contribute to society in the future.

Although the children in Nursery are still small seeds, we believe that soon, they will grow into towering trees. We hope that more children can join the Huili community, discover what they truly love, grow into their desired selves, and in the near future, create an extraordinary era of their own.
