Congratulations to Huili Pupil Alice Jiang for her excellent performance in the national dance competition!

April Jiang, a Grade 8 pupil from Huili School Nantong, stood out among 240 dancers in the national competition "Super Dancers" with her dance – Growing up in the Sunshine. Alice won first place, and became the only dancer directly qualified for the 2024 finals. Hosted by Shanghai Theatre Academy and China Association of Vocational Education in Art, Alice Jiang’s performance in this competition demonstrated the talent, confidence and composure of Huili pupils. 

Mr. Simon Kenworthy, the Master, deeply proud and honored that Alice won the award. "Alice's outstanding performance in this competition demonstrates the success of a holistic education for pupils at Huili Nantong. Both art and academic subjects are equally important. The confidence, courage, and creativity that pupils gain in art education in Huili Nantong enable them to become an all rounded people. This holistic education philosophy has always been upheld by Huili."
