Our team continues to grow with a new Huili campus in Nantong opened this autumn and longer-term plans to take our innovative bilingual education model overseas. We expect our headcount to increase by more than 10% during the next academic year. Our teaching staff come from a diversity of countries and professional backgrounds with an average of 11.3 years of experience. Moreover, our teaching staff remain committed. They stay with us for an average of three years, and more than 20% have worked at Wellington for five years or more.

This is why every academic year, we offer a comprehensive directory of professional development courses for academic and non-academic employees. This year, we have conducted training sessions in teaching methodologies, leadership, cultural awareness, coaching, team building and much more.

All teachers from Huili School Nantong are highly experienced, with an average of over 9.5 years of experience in education. The ratio of Chinese to foreign teachers is 1:1. All foreign teachers coming from native English-speaking countries, and 75% of the Chinese teachers have extensive overseas teaching experience.
Huili School Nantong provided a tight and comprehensive induction schedule for all teachers includes teaching concepts, teaching strategies, teaching management, training, teachers' physical and mental health development, classroom set-up and teaching-area function introduction etc. These trainings not only helped teachers quickly grasp the teaching rhythm, but also quickly get familiar with each other's teaching styles, unify the work pace and cultivate tacit understanding.
