This summer, pupils from Hiba Academy Nantong embarked on a two-week camp in Wellington, UK, with the purpose of fostering cooperation between the two institutions and enhancing students' English language skills.
The diverse program included a variety of indoor and outdoor courses such as Maths, Economics, Drama, English Poetry, Rugby, Low Ropes, Obstacle Courses, Rafting Challenge, etc. In addition to academic and athletic activities, students had the opportunity to dive into the local culture by visiting iconic locations such as Oxford, London, Portsmouth, Windsor Castle, etc. The trip was a rich blend of educational and cultural exposure, leaving the pupils with improved language abilities and memorable experiences.
"This journey has been an invaluable experience for our pupils." said the trip leader Ms. Wang, "As it not only strengthened the ties between Wellington China and Wellington UK but also significantly boosted the pupils' English proficiency and cultural awareness.
