The course emphasizes developing pupils' storytelling skills, emotional expression, and teamwork through a variety of dynamic activities. Pupils will engage in character analysis, monologue and dialogue performance, synchronized dance for storytelling, and explore the technical aspects of drama production such as set and prop design.
Throughout the year, pupils will demonstrate a clear understanding of character backgrounds and motivations, effectively convey emotions, and continuously enhance their overall performance skills while improving their English and Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
Hiba Academy Nantong is thrilled to announce the relaunch of its D&T (Design and Technology) course this term. This course will provide pupils with a rich array of practical projects, including textiles, food technology, product design, woodworking, and computer-aided design.
The goal of the D&T course is not only to involve pupils in hands-on creation but also to cultivate key skills such as problem-solving, resilience, experimentation, creativity, and teamwork.

In the newly outfitted food technology classroom, pupils will learn to safely prepare and cook a variety of delicious meals, sharing their creations with others. This practical experience teaches cooking skills while also emphasizing the importance of balanced nutrition. The textiles workshop, a course highlight, is fully equipped with sewing machines and other essential tools. Pupils will learn to safely operate these machines, transforming their creative concepts into tangible items. In the woodworking workshop, pupils will delve into the processes of model making and product design, gaining insights into the lifecycle of a product from concept to digital modeling and 3D printing—valuable knowledge for future engineers and innovators.
