Memorabilia of Huili School Nantong

At the beginning of 2020, the Wellington College China team held a commencement ceremony for Huili School Nantong in Suxitong Science and Technology Park, planting the seeds for our new school. This occasion marked that Wellington College China officially announces the third Huili school after its Huili schools and kindergartens in Shanghai and Hangzhou. Wellington College China will take root and grow in this riverside and coastal city and bring high-quality bilingual education to families in Nantong and the Yangtze River Delta.

With the day and night efforts of the engineering team, Huili School Nantong ushered in the capping ceremony and finally shows its template on this land on 1^st June 2021. During the construction of the campus, we received huge help from both city and district governments and high attention from parents. The strong support from all parties gave us sunshine and nourishment, enabling Huili School Nantong to grow. We look forward to witnessing that Huili School Nantong becoming a model of bilingual education in the core area of the Yangtze River Delta. 

From September 2021 to April 2022, with the launch of the Founding Office of Huili School Nantong, more parents and pupils can fully and vividly understand the educational philosophy and characteristics of  Huili School Nantong. The launch of the first Open Day, Meet the Master and bilingual experience classes attracted more attention. Advanced educational concepts, comprehensive curriculum, and world-class facilities all show the excellence of Huili to people in attendance. Although it is a new school, it stunned everyone. 

In addition to offline events, Huili school Nantong also used emerging media to cross the limitations of time and space, interacting with parents online, inviting the experts from  Huili School Nantong and Wellington College China to discuss with parents about various aspects of bilingual education, and further showing and introducing the school to parents and pupils in an all-round way. 

If you ask what parents and children expect most before the first day of school, it is certainly the moment when we open campus visits to families who are interested in the school. The first Campus Open Day is like a surprise gift box from the founding team. Everyone is looking forward to opening the colourful wrapping paper to see the delicate "gifts" inside. The members of the founding team are even more excited.

At the turn of spring into summer, flowers are in full bloom, and the 100-Day Countdown of Huili School Nantong also arrived as scheduled. Blessings from other sister schools in Wellington College China, ardent expectations from parents and pupils, and support from the government and all sectors of society, like the warm spring sun, fertile soil, and gentle drizzle, nourishing the continuous growth of Huili. All founding members, parents and pupils who have accompanied Huili School Nantong all the way celebrated the milestone day here.   

Cicadas startle in the mid-summer, and the sunset reflects the playground. The Huili campus was finally and fully completed and handed over. All members, parents, and children of Huili received a romantic Huili "Campus Carnival" at our stadium in the summer evening. On the leafy Huili campus, the evening breeze carried the hard work and efforts of all founding members, sending everyone's hopes for the new semester to the sky.
