Goodbye to our first academic year!

The weekly assembly is a highly anticipated event for many pupils. Since the establishment of the school, centred around the five core values of courage, respect, integrity, kindness, and responsibility, pupils have celebrated their achievements at school through various forms of assembly every week.

At Huili School Nantong, we do not measure pupils' growth and achievements solely based on grades. During each assembly, children showcase their growth in a more vivid and unique way through their own expressions. From dancing, playing music, singing, giving speeches, to drama or musical performances; pupils bring us a new audio-visual feast every week. They express their thoughts and emotions on stage, conveying their inner world and growth experiences, shining brightly as individuals. We are proud of every pupil.

Today was the last assembly of this semester. On the stage woven with music and song, we felt the confidence and vitality blooming from our classmates as always. Although everyone has a bit of sadness in their hearts today, as the lyrics say, "Encounters are gifts from time." After a brief separation, we will meet again in the familiar campus in the golden autumn season and continue our journey of learning and growth together.

Looking back at this academic year, besides the diverse and wonderful performances by our pupils, we also held many rich and interesting activities during assemblies: we celebrated National Day, 100th day of school, Children's Day; held the house competitions, Young Pioneers induction ceremony, winter concert, Chinese New Year Temple Fair, pupil council elections; organized unique Book Week, Science Day, ICT assembly and many more... We also invited teachers from Nantong Museum to lead the children in exploring the development and changes of Nantong, delving into the history of the city; firefighters from the Suxitong Park Fire Rescue Brigade also drove fire trucks into the campus, vividly popularizing various fire rescue knowledge to pupils.

From spring to winter, the seasons come and go. Each assembly witnesses the changes and growth, learning and achievements of our classmates. Pupils who were unfamiliar with each other at the first assembly have now become close friends who can talk about anything. At the end of this academic year, we stand at the crossroads of time, reflecting on our learning, life, and growth, feeling deeply moved. In the fragrant summer, these precious memories leave a deep impression in the minds of all pupils and teachers, shining brightly like fireworks in the summer night sky, dazzling and brilliant. Let us look forward to creating more beautiful and precious moments at future assemblies next academic year.
