Huili School Nantong plans to open the high school programme when our oldest pupils go to Grade 10 in 2025. Our high school pupils will follow the IGCSE programme and then in Grades 11 and 12 A-levels. Whether the school decides to offer the IBDP or A-level, in the future, the end goal for our pupils is the same – to gain entry into top global universities whether in the US, UK or elsewhere.
After completing junior high school, will my child need to take an entrance exam to progress to high school?
It is not our intention to introduce a formal exam to progress to high school. However, if our academic leadership team felt that a pupil would not benefit and thrive in the curriculum that is being delivered in high school, they would have early conversations with the pupil and parents about any concerns.
