The midsummer breeze blows away the anxiety of the scorching heat, walking through the cicada's chirping, the first Huili School Nantong Summer Carnival has arrived. As a grand celebration at the end of the first academic year, all participants are extremely excited!
The golden afternoon sun broke through the thick clouds and revealed a clear blue sky. More than 200 families came and filled the campus with a festive atmosphere, spending a happy time together. As Master, Simon Kenworthy shared, "Today we gather together, without classrooms, without learning, only to enjoy the fun together!"
How can we talk about the Summer Carnival without mentioning music! The talented pupils brought wonderful performances that pushed the already hot atmosphere to a new level! The energetic dance, exotic solo, inspiring Chinese drums, and the cool drum set, displayed by each pupil's performance announced the early summer season, full of vitality and colorful beauty.
The Huili jewel in the crown; the Starlight Stadium and British rugby field, hold a variety of stalls and games that we carefully prepare to attract children and adults alike. " FIRE CROSSING" and " F1 FAST & FURIOUS" are exciting and challenging, and every maneuver is a huge test of the participant's hand-eye coordination. Even bystanders can't help but hold their breath. New friends were quickly made, when participating in the " NO DROP OF WATER" and " WATER PASSING" games that require teamwork, quickly uniting everyone for a common goal. Mr. Shane and Mr. Adam also prepare a "Penalty Shootout Competition", which is just as exciting as a professional match with the shots, saves, attacks, and defenses on the green field.
However, when it comes to the highlight of the event, nothing beats the inflatable bouncy castle and water slide! The huge, colourful inflatable castle a beacon between the red band grey buildings, bringing a unique summer beauty to the campus full of British style. The cool water activities completely release the heat of summer!
The Summer Carnival was a sight to behold with its stalls of various colours. The ice cream stalls were particularly delightful, offering a sweet and cool respite from the summer heat. The magic stalls were a hit with children of all ages, providing endless joy and surprises. For those seeking peace and tranquility, the exquisite book stalls offered a small world of solace amidst the hustle and bustle. The equestrian stalls transported visitors back in time to the English countryside, where knights once roamed.

The FoH stall was especially popular, with their themed T-shirts and symbolic designs adorning every corner of the campus, creating a strong sense of belonging for all who attended the carnival.
We sincerely thank each and every community member for theirmany efforts in the Summer Carnival. You worked closely together to plan, coordinate, and implement all aspects of the event, allowing the first carnival to be held smoothly and safely and ending successfully, fully reflecting the values of Huili and setting an example for our pupils.
Summer Carnival was a wonderful event that successfully conveyed the happy, inclusive, and diverse atmosphere of the Huili community.
